OD – Organisation Development
TD –  Team Development

PD – Personnel/Personal Development

OD, TD and PD are not separated independent systems. They are connected
and interdependent. Whatever you do in one of these systems has its
consequences also in the other systems.

Our approach is to focus mainly on the Team as the central area of
intervention.
This has several reasons:

v     almost all essential activities within organisations are done within teams (sometimes the organisation  i s  the team – especially in small
enterprises.)

v      rules and patterns of behaviour in teams
     can be identified more easily than in the more complex system
        “organisation” and
     can be changed more easily than in the system of individual
       persons.

v      team performance has the biggest impact on organisational
performance

v      it is easier  a n d  more effective to start processes of development of
teams than of organisations or with single persons.

Our core business is Team Development, imbedded within organisational development and unavoidably connected with personnel and personal
development.

We have been specialised in that since 1984. Our background is group
dynamics on the one hand and systems theory on the other hand and we
almost always work within an economic environment (even within so called
NPOs – Non Profit Organisations).

As far as possible we use interactive methods of experiential learning. We
have developed 2 special programmes of this kind, that is MPS –
Management Plan Spiele
Ò (= managing process simulation) and ODTT - OutDoor TeamTrainingÒ, which are in a lot of cases part of our holistic
Team Development Programmes
.

Critical success factors of TEAM TRAINING
* Clear Goals first
There is no calculable success of any action without clear, that means controllable goals in advance.
* Family Group training
If you want to improve the performance of the team, then train the team - not only single members.
* Experiential Learning
Team-performance is mainly based on team-behaviour. To change
behaviour, you have to train with interactive methods of experiential learning.
It is not enough just to talk about problems and challenges.
* Ongoing Support & Evaluation
Team-performance cannot be improved only by training. The surrounding environmental conditions have to support better team-performance as well. Ongoing evaluation has to control team-performance as a basis for ongoing consequences and therefore development.
